The IIB held the summer school from August, 2nd to 7th 2009 at the Station Hombroich in Neuss, Germany. The main topics of 2009 were concerned with food quality. Researchers from many countries gave lectures. Ute Langanky showed her artworks Blitz im Bild (2003) and LichtBlick (2009) parallel to the summer school in the event hall / Station Hombroich.
